An easy and cheap way to show support is to send in some stamps. Whether you have a few sitting on the coffee table, or you want to buy and send a book of stamps, anything is appreciated. These will be used for mailers to help get the word out. For max effect, the recipients will be registered voters, from a list provided by the court house.
I want to get the first mailer out before primary day (May 18th). I need an army of volunteers to petition (collect signatures) at the polls. The signatures need to be valid (registered voters in the district), and targeting polls is a sure fire way to get some good valid signatures. We know they’re registered, and we know they live in the district. I will provide the clipboards, pens, etc.
So keep your credit cards, checks, and cash. Just send me some stamps!
I want to run for congress because I have faith in the American people, and I know they will have faith in me. Anyone paying attention can see that our economy is in ruins, our foreign policy is doing more harm than good, and our liberties are increasingly being threatened. With nothing changing for the better despite constant power changes between the Republicans and Democrats, it’s safe to say that the two party system is not working. I want to give the people another option so that they may have a real choice. Thanks to trail blazers like Ron Paul and the people who are making themselves heard, the liberty movement is gaining traction, and I’m proud to be considered one of the liberty candidates.
Over the past few days, I’ve been diving through some Flash, Actionscript, PHP, MySQL, and XML code to develop a new feature for this website. Whenever you donate, there is a check box to have your name honored on the site. If you want, you can have your named displayed on the website as a patriot that has donated. Give it a try!
I’m a bit of a geek. I’ve been teaching myself programming and web development since the 90’s. After the Army in 2005, I went to college for a related major, but was bored with the pace and proprietary curriculum. My dream school was MIT after all, haha. In the future, I’m hoping to put together a package for other future candidates to get up and running on the web.
A candidate and longtime associate, Adam Kokesh, is also running for congress down in New Mexico. Both being members of IVAW, I first met him in 2007 at an anti-war protest in D.C., where he literally led a march of as many as 100,000 people. He’s recently started a Facebook group called “I want to give congress a pay cut“. When he gets elected, he wants to propose pay cuts on the salary of congress members. The idea being that a politician’s salary should be more representative of the people he serves, which is not six figures. I support this idea, and if elected, will also support such legislation.

It’s the only active one in Southwestern PA. Looking forward to seeing what is on the minds of other Libertarians. I came up with an icon that you can use to help spread the message. Putting this image on your profile is an EASY and FREE way to show support! All you have to do is replace your current profile pic with my icon. People will see it on your profile and know that you’re an awesome and smart person. Your friends already know what you look like, so go for it! At the very least, please consider putting it up for a few days leading up to the election. Deal?!
I created a little comic strip that will hopefully draw some 2nd Amendment supporters my way. My art skills are pretty bad, and it’s hardly comical, but hopefully the message gets across. Check it out @ http://carryacop.com
As a fan of the Billy Mays commercials, and a fine beard grower myself, I came up with this idea last year for a campaign video. Yes, I know it’s cheesy. I did all of the work myself. Bought a green screen and lighting set off eBay. Taught myself some video editing. Had a bunch of clips where I forgot I was holding my camera’s remote! My next idea involves the Kool Aid man. I’ll let you ponder that one. “Oohhhhh Yeahhh!!!”
Today marks the launch of my campaign website, declaring my interest in running for Congress in 2010 as Representative in Pennsylvania. I will be seeking the Libertarian nomination. This journey has been a long time coming, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you. On this website, you can read about popular issues, learn about my background, and participate in the march for liberty.
